Tinsley House — Montana Homestead

The Tinsley House, now located at the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman, Montana, was originally built in Willow Creek in the Gallatin valley over 100 years ago. The tinsley's, William and Lucy, moved west after the Civil War. They met and married in Virginia City and then moved to the Gallatin valley where they built the house in 1889 out of timber from the Tobacco Root mountains
