Blodgett Backwater

Downed trees create a small reflecting pond at the edge of Blodgett Creek, about three miles up Blodgett Canyon. Blodgett Creek drains the canyon of the same name in the Bitterroot Range of western Montana. The canyon walls rise over 2,000 feet above the creek, which runs for about 12 miles out of Blodgett Lake at the western end of the canyon.
