Julia Child’s Kitchen

Julia Child, famous 20th-century cookbook author and cooking show host, donated the actual kitchen used as the backdrop to several of her television shows to the Smithsonian National Museum of American History. It opened for display in 2002. The kitchen was originally designed in 1961 by her husband Paul for their home in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
